The annual GEOINT Symposium is the nation’s premier intelligence event. GEOINT 2009 will take place October 18-21 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, located in San Antonio, Texas.
- Is this symposium classified?
No, there are no classified sessions at the GEOINT 2009 Symposium. All exhibits, keynotes, panels, and break-out sessions are unclassified and open to all attendees.

- Where can I find the agenda for the symposium?
The GEOINT 2009 Symposium can be found on our agenda page. The agenda will continually be updated as speakers are confirmed, so be sure to check back often.
- What are the exhibit hall hours?
The exhibit hall is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Lunch is served in the exhibit hall from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and daily receptions are held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
- What is included in a One-Day Expo Only Pass?
Only those activities taking place in the Exhibit Hall on the day for which your badge was purchased. There is a limit of one, One-Day Expo Only Pass per attendee.
- Is there an "official airline" for GEOINT 2009?

- Is there an age restriction for GEOINT 2009?
Due to liability restrictions, no one under the age of 18, including infants and toddlers, is permitted to attend GEOINT 2009 Symposium event or to enter the exhibit hall at any time.
- Is GEOINT 2009 Tax Deductible?
If the purpose of attending GEOINT 2009 is to help you maintain or improve skills relating to employment or business, a portion of your conference expenses may be tax deductible according to IRC Reg. 1.162.5. The eligible deduction for this amount is generally limited. Please consult your tax advisor. You cannot deduct the cost of meals from your registration fee.
- What is the official language of the symposium?
English is the official language of the conference. USGIF is unable to provide translation services for conference attendees.
- What is the dress code?
Business attire is recommended for all conference sessions, the exhibit hall and receptions. Military officers and enlisted personnel are recommended to wear their duty uniform or business suit. Casual attire is recommended for the Welcome Reception, Alamo tours, Corporate Hospitality Night, Closing Celebration with musical guest World Classic Rockers.

- Will Internet access be available at the Symposium?
An Internet café is located within the GEOINT 2009 exhibit hall and there are few wi-fi hotspots around the exhibit hall.
- What is the solicitation policy?
No solicitation of any kind is allowed at the GEOINT 2009 Symposium. By registering to attend, you acknowledge this policy and agree that you will not advertise, represent or distribute literature for products or services to our exhibitors, attendees or staff without the express written approval of USGIF. Any attendee that violates this policy will forfeit their registration credentials.

- What is the Spouse/Guest Pass?
As a special offer, USGIF is giving GEOINT 2009 attendees and exhibitors the option to bring a spouse or guest to this year’s Symposium. We’ve reduced the price to $75 per person and increased the access the pass provides. The spouse/guest pass provides access to the exhibit hall after 4 p.m. as well as the each evening’s networking event, including the closing celebration with special musical guest World Classic Rockers.
